Auditions

Auditions will take place on Thursday, August 3rd from 6pm – 8pm & Saturday, August 6th from 10am – 12pm. You only need to attend one Audition Day. Parents, please print out the Audition Forms, fill them out and bring with you.

Audition Preparation

Included in this packet are Audition Sides, some with music & some with just lines. If you are auditioning for a lead role, I suggest you prepare a song and practice lines from the sides given. You can sing the song acapella or you can bring music to sing to. Just because you are auditioning for a certain role the Director might ask you to read lines from any number of characters.

You may audition with a song of your choosing. We just ask that you keep your portion of the song under 30 seconds. It’s best to pick something that will show off your vocal range.

Cast List

The cast list will hopefully be sent out by late Sunday, August 6th, but no later than Monday, August 7th. It will be posted on our Facebook page & our website.

Rehearsals

Every Tuesday & Thursday 6pm – 8pm & Saturday 10am – 1pm up until our move to the PAC. PAC week is the week before our Performance Date. Your child will be required to be at the PAC every night that week (not negotiable), ranging from 5-6pm till 8-8:30pm. All schedule conflicts must be listed on your Audition Form before you Audition. If you plan on missing days that weren’t disclosed to us before Auditioning, your child will run the risk of losing their role in the play.

Days Off

The Only Day Off is Saturday, September 2, 2023 (Labor Day Weekend).

In October we are aware most children will get a Fall Break at school. They will NOT get these rehearsal days off. It is too close to our production date. THEY NEED TO BE AT REHEARSAL. If you have already booked a vacation for these days, you must disclose this before Auditioning.

IMPORTANT DATES

Rehearsal Start Date is August 8, 2023 (Plan to be at rehearsal every Tues., Thurs., & Sat. after this date)
PAC Move In Day is October 15, 2023
PAC WEEK is October 16th – 20th, 2023 (Rehearsal Everyday)
PERFORMANCE DATES are October 21st and 22nd
